Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Brand Operations based in the United States. We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and proactive brand operations leader to help translate brand strategy into measurable business results. In this role, you will serve as a strategic operational partner to senior brand marketing leadership, coordinating planning, reporting, team priorities, and cross-functional initiatives. You will establish effective operating rhythms, create executive-ready presentations, and ensure projects move forward with clear ownership, timelines, and success metrics. Working across social media, influencer marketing, community, public relations, partnerships, and creative production, you will connect teams and align marketing activities with broader business goals. You will also use data and performance insights to improve decision-making, budget management, and marketing effectiveness. This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking, project management, and hands-on execution in a fast-growing consumer brand environment.
Manage the operating rhythm for Brand Marketing, preparing documents, performance data, and materials for leadership meetings, weekly team syncs, OKR reviews, quarterly planning, and budget discussions. Develop clear, compelling presentations and strategic narratives for executive, board, and cross-functional reviews. Translate brand vision and annual objectives into quarterly execution plans with defined owners, milestones, priorities, and success measures. Drive accountability across the Brand Marketing team by tracking projects, deadlines, and priorities, following up on deliverables, and escalating or reprioritizing work when necessary. Coordinate with Integrated Marketing, Growth, Product, and Commercial teams to align campaigns, launches, calendars, and broader business initiatives. Improve the effectiveness of Brand Marketing teams spanning social media and influencer marketing, community and ambassadors, PR and partnerships, and brand creative. Collect and analyze data related to brand awareness, brand health, social and influencer performance, earned media, community growth, content production, costs, budget utilization, and return on investment. Build and maintain accessible dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into marketing performance, resource allocation, and spending. Collaborate with marketing business operations, Strategy and Analytics, and Finance teams on analysis, leadership reporting, budget planning, tracking, and forecasting. Identify and prioritize high-impact special projects by defining business problems, evaluating potential impact, developing business cases, structuring execution plans, and securing stakeholder alignment. Lead complex cross-functional initiatives and address operational challenges that fall outside established departmental responsibilities. Design and improve processes and tools for project intake, creative briefs, approvals, resource planning, agency coordination, and vendor management. Take direct ownership of execution rather than simply delegating tasks, ensuring initiatives progress from planning through implementation. Measure the results of major initiatives before and after implementation to assess impact and ensure improvements are sustained. Provide hands-on operational support across Brand Marketing wherever additional coordination, problem-solving, or execution capacity is needed. Requirements: Five to seven years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, brand strategy, marketing operations, or business operations. At least two years of in-house experience at a high-growth consumer, direct-to-consumer (DTC), or retail brand. Experience managing the operating cadence of a senior leader or team, including planning cycles, leadership meetings, OKRs, and follow-through. Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, maintain momentum, and drive accountability without formal authority. Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to identify relevant data, conduct independent analysis, and translate findings into practical strategies and actions. Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, with experience building or maintaining dashboards; SQL or Looker experience is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop polished, executive-ready presentations, reports, and strategic narratives. Strong understanding of brand marketing functions, including social media, influencer marketing, public relations, partnerships, and creative production. Appreciation for creative processes and the ability to balance creative needs with operational discipline and business objectives. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence, support, and empower stakeholders across different teams, experience levels, and disciplines. A proactive, action-oriented mindset, with a track record of moving from analysis to execution in fast-paced and ambiguous environments. Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information. Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in New York or Utah, ideally three days per week in the office, or remotely from Austin or Los Angeles. Benefits: Competitive base salary. Annual bonus based on individual and company performance. 21 days of paid vacation, in addition to all federal holidays. Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and mental health coverage. 16 weeks of paid leave for birth parents. 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birth parents. 55% discount on products for friends and family. Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a growing consumer brand. Hybrid or remote work options, depending on location.
