OUR MISSION SPAN IS ENABLING ELECTRIFICATION FOR ALL ⚡ XFRA BY SPAN IS THE FIRST DISTRIBUTED DATA CENTER USING EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE AND UNDERUTILIZED POWER CAPACITY TO MEET EXPANDING AI COMPUTE DEMAND.

  • Designing a flexible and distributed electrical grid THE ROLE XFRA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes for engineering builds and production. You will apply hands-on manufacturing experience to resolve production issues, strengthen process documentation, and help bring new electro-mechanical products to market. RESPONSIBILITIES · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine manufacturing processes, procedures, and production requirements. · Develop assembly processes, fixtures, and tooling to support XFRA products. · Improve manufacturing processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce lost time and material scrap. · Analyze production data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions. · Support compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations. · Work with cross-functional partners to support production plans and resolve manufacturing issues. ABOUT YOU REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · At least 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or a similar role, preferably in a high-tech environment. · Experience assessing, analyzing, and resolving problems in a manufacturing environment. · Experience bringing new electro-mechanical products to market through new product introduction (NPI). · Ability to develop and maintain clear process and production documentation. · Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. · Self-directed work style and ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team. · Adaptability, sound judgment, and confidence communicating, negotiating, and influencing across teams. · Proficiency with Google Workspace applications.
