Define and implement robust, scalable, reusable, and adaptable test strategies covering new product introduction, mass production, repair, and sustaining operations. Analyze manufacturing yield, test results, and failure trends to identify systemic hardware, software, firmware, and process issues; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Define test coverage, test flows, equipment requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria to prevent manufacturing escapes and meet product quality goals. Improve test cycle time, throughput, capacity, reliability, and cost through process simplification, automation, statistical analysis, and data-driven optimization. Develop and monitor key performance indicators for test-system health, product quality, manufacturing yield, and operational performance. Support factory deployment, qualification, readiness assessment, configuration management, bill of materials, and engineering change processes for manufacturing test systems. Partner with design, validation, NPI, manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier teams to assess technical risks, resolve production issues, and ensure continuity of supply. Develop and maintain test requirements, technical specifications, operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and other manufacturing documentation. Incorporate security, sustainability, serviceability, and reliability principles throughout the test-system lifecycle. Evaluate and apply AI and machine-learning capabilities to improve test coverage, failure prediction, anomaly detection, and manufacturing intelligence. Communicate technical findings, project status, risks, schedules, and recommendations clearly to engineering teams and business stakeholders. Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; **or Master's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in enterprise computing, consumer electronics, hardware test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or hyperscale supply-chain systems; **or Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of relevant industry experience; or equivalent experience. Experience developing or deploying manufacturing test solutions for complex electronic, computing, server, networking, storage, or electromechanical products. Experience with system-level debugging, failure analysis, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action processes. Programming or scripting experience using languages such as Python, C#, C++, Java, or equivalent. Experience analyzing manufacturing or test data using statistical methods and translating findings into engineering actions. Demonstrated ability to independently drive technical projects and collaborate across engineering disciplines, suppliers, and manufacturing sites. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Doctorate and 3+ years, Master's degree and 6+ years, or Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience. Experience with high-volume manufacturing, new product introduction, contract manufacturers, or global manufacturing operations. Experience designing automated test equipment, fixtures, diagnostics, test frameworks, or factory data systems. Knowledge of server architecture, networking, storage, power, thermal systems, firmware, or rack-level integration. Experience with statistical process control, design of experiments, yield improvement, reliability engineering, or failure-mode analysis. Experience using AI or machine learning for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, failure classification, or test optimization. Experience managing technical schedules, risks, engineering changes, equipment readiness, and cross-functional dependencies. Ability to influence technical direction and deliver results across teams without direct authority.
