Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Program Manager based in United States . Take the lead on complex, high-impact technical programs that drive innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of client projects. In this senior role, you will connect business strategy with technical execution, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, product, design, and project management. You will serve as a trusted partner to clients and executive stakeholders, translating complex technical challenges into clear plans and measurable outcomes. By managing dependencies, risks, resources, and competing priorities, you will help teams deliver high-quality results predictably. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced, fully remote environment that values autonomy, sound judgment, and continuous improvement. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced program leader who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys influencing decisions across teams and organizations.

Lead complex, large-scale technical programs involving multiple development teams, products, and organizations. Oversee the overall program portfolio, managing schedules, dependencies, risks, resource allocation, and critical blockers to ensure successful delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for clients and executive stakeholders, setting expectations, communicating progress, and maintaining alignment on objectives and outcomes. Partner with senior leaders to resolve challenges, evaluate technical trade-offs, and support informed, strategic decision-making. Translate complex technical concepts into business implications, facilitating discussions and collaboration across engineering, product, design, and other functions. Establish clear goals, ownership, and accountability across teams to maintain momentum and delivery quality. Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen program processes, predictability, and execution. Track progress against program objectives and promote a results-oriented approach focused on measurable business and technical impact. Requirements: At least 8 years of experience in technical program management within software engineering or other highly technical environments. Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs involving multiple product development teams and senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system architecture, artificial intelligence, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices. Demonstrated ability to engage with senior leaders, assess technical trade-offs, and navigate complex challenges in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, align diverse teams, and influence executive-level decisions without direct authority. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on translating strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, and risks across multiple programs. Preferred: Experience in a major technology company, such as a Mag 7 or FAANG organization, or in a high-growth startup environment. Preferred: Experience managing complex technical programs in client-facing consulting or professional services environments. Benefits: Annual salary range of CAD $145,000–$185,000 , with the final offer based on skills, experience, and comparable market compensation. Fully remote work across North America, with flexible working hours. Workspace setup budget to support an effective remote working environment. Localized healthcare coverage designed to support employees and their families. Flexible paid time off, with a minimum of three weeks annually, excluding holidays. Company-wide Fridays without internal meetings to support focused, uninterrupted work. Professional development budget for technical training, conferences, certifications, language courses, and other learning opportunities. Monthly health and wellness allowance. Annual in-person team offsites to build relationships and strengthen collaboration. Profit-sharing program that allows employees to participate in collective success. Paid sabbatical program to support rest, renewal, and personal growth. Inclusive work culture that values diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, with accommodations available throughout the hiring process.
