About the Role Join the technical pre-sales team at a Series A R&D software company serving science-driven organizations. You will help customers modernize research and development workflows by connecting their data and technical needs to practical platform solutions. What You'll Do Own technical pre-sales engagements from initial demonstrations through value case development, technical evaluations, and pilot execution. Build tailored demonstrations, workshops, and pilots for prospect R&D workflows. Partner with sales colleagues and customer stakeholders to communicate value and support new business. Lead technical evaluations and present how digital tools can improve R&D data management and innovation. Mentor new graduate team members supporting technical evaluations. Write scripts and configure integrations to support prospect requirements. Travel 25% to 50% for customer meetings, presentations, and workshops. What We're Looking For Four to seven years of relevant experience, including at least four years in digitalization, change management, or R&D leadership. An advanced degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field, ideally with a computational or machine learning focus. Strong chemistry or materials science expertise and experience with R&D workflows and laboratory informatics. Experience building and demonstrating technical platforms for enterprise customers, including integrations or orchestration. Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or R&D leadership in a large chemical or materials organization. Python scripting ability, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel. Fluent English; EU-based candidates should have C1 or higher proficiency in a local language. Work authorization in the United States, United Kingdom, or Germany. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location Remote, with Munich, Bavaria, Germany as the primary location.
