Key Responsibilities:
• Review and assess building, retail, marketing, advertising, wayfinding, hoarding, banner, flag, and promotional signage proposals
• Ensure signage and branding submissions comply with Development Control Regulations (DCR), Urban Design Guidelines (UDG), signage policies, and authority requirements
• Review signage dimensions, placement, illumination, materials, visibility, content, and overall urban design impact
• Manage project naming, development branding, corporate identity, and marketing branding approvals
• Review and process Building Signage and Marketing Signage NOC applications, including renewals, amendments, extensions, and revalidations
• Develop and enhance signage governance frameworks, policies, approval workflows, classification criteria, and approval matrices
• Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, MADA Media, developers, consultants, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with Marketing, Commercial, Development, Asset Management, and Branding teams on project branding and naming approvals
• Support signage inspections, compliance monitoring, rectification reviews, enforcement actions, and unauthorized signage controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, digital workflows, dashboard monitoring, and automation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Graphic Design, Branding & Marketing, Landscape Architecture, Design Management, or a related discipline
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in development control, urban design review, signage governance, branding compliance, advertising approvals, or related fields
• Strong experience working with developers, authorities, consultants, architects, contractors, and branding agencies
• Knowledge of DCR, UDG, Building & Marketing Signage Policies, Dubai Out-of-Home Advertising requirements, and MADA Media requirements
• Strong understanding of architectural/urban design principles, signage materials, illumination, fabrication, and installation methods
• Experience in policy development, governance frameworks, approval management, and stakeholder coordination preferred
• Strong technical report writing, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
