About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join VGS on a 6–12 month contract and help support our growing Engineering organization. This person will own a portfolio of technical roles end-to-end and partner closely with hiring managers to identify, engage, and close exceptional talent. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities move quickly and recruiters are expected to operate with a high level of ownership and autonomy. Depending on VGS's growth trajectory and hiring needs, there is potential for this position to convert to a full-time role.

What You’ll Do Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple technical roles, from kickoff and sourcing through offer and close Partner closely with Engineering leaders and hiring managers to define profiles, develop recruiting strategies, and keep searches moving Proactively source and engage highly qualified passive technical talent Conduct recruiter screens and effectively assess both technical alignment and overall fit Manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment Create a strong candidate experience throughout the entire interview process Use recruiting data and funnel metrics to identify challenges and adjust search strategies Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within our ATS Help improve recruiting processes, interview practices, and hiring efficiency as we scale

What You Bring 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical/engineering hiring Proven experience recruiting for roles such as Software Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Platform Engineering, or other highly technical positions Experience working in a fast-paced startup, high-growth technology company, or similarly dynamic environment is required Strong sourcing skills and demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive technical talent Comfortable independently managing multiple searches at different stages Strong hiring manager partnership and stakeholder management skills Ability to move quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and operate with limited oversight Excellent communication, organization, and candidate management skills Nice to Have: Experience with tokenization, payment processing, or security products BA/BS degree A knack for out-of-the-box thinking that thrives in a fast-paced startup environment Experience with Lever is highly preferred We're looking for passionate professionals who take pride in their craft and want to help grow a team tackling some of the most critical problems in payments.
