This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technology Designer – Healthcare based in United States. This senior-level role leads the technical design and delivery of technology infrastructure across a diverse range of healthcare facilities. You will combine engineering expertise with project execution, customer engagement, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. The position covers critical low-voltage and technology systems, including telecommunications, audiovisual, security, networking, and mass notification solutions. You will translate project requirements into detailed engineering documents, equipment specifications, estimates, schedules, and high-quality deliverables. The role also provides opportunities to influence business development through proposals, customer meetings, and technical presentations. You will work in a collaborative environment where technical excellence, accountability, communication, and practical project execution are highly valued. Design technology systems for healthcare facilities across one or more disciplines, including voice and data telecommunications cabling, outside plant infrastructure, audiovisual systems, paging and mass notification, digital signage, card access security, CCTV/IP cameras, video management, and video storage. Prepare engineering documentation, drawings, equipment specifications, and other technical deliverables that meet contracted project scope and applicable telecommunications, audiovisual, security, networking, and technology design principles. Apply relevant industry standards and codes throughout project design and execution, including RCDD, TIA/EIA, CPTED, CPP, PSP, NEC, and NFPA standards. Develop estimates for assigned scopes of work and maintain accountability for delivering projects within the agreed scope. Create project plans and schedules that support effective execution and timely completion of assigned work. Serve as project manager for complete technology-focused projects when assigned, coordinating activities from planning through delivery. Actively manage projects by combining effective delegation and follow-up with hands-on execution when required to maintain quality and momentum. Support business development activities by contributing to proposals, participating in customer meetings, and interviewing with prospective and existing customers. Provide technical direction to other team members and subcontractors as assigned. Review and approve final equipment selections and drawing submittals. Provide technical and engineering support to other departments and disciplines throughout project development and delivery. Maintain a working understanding of architectural, electrical, mechanical, civil, and structural construction practices to support effective multidisciplinary collaboration. Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring expectations, project requirements, and delivery priorities remain aligned. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of successful project execution. Requirements Technical degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another applicable design or engineering discipline, or extensive relevant professional experience . 8+ years of relevant technical design experience across a variety of healthcare facilities. Strong proficiency in low-voltage systems design within the candidate’s core technical discipline. Strong knowledge of applicable industry design standards, including RCDD, TIA/EIA, CPTED, CPP, PSP, NEC, and NFPA. Expert-level understanding of technology and its application within business and facility environments. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Ability to present complex technical information to different audiences, synthesize ideas into actionable recommendations, and positively influence project outcomes. Strong planning, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project requirements simultaneously. Demonstrated accountability, persistence, urgency, and ownership in achieving project and customer commitments. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work effectively under pressure, and balance speed with quality. Strong project execution skills, including planning, coordination, follow-through, and continuous improvement. Ability to adapt communication style and approach based on the audience and situation. Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share expertise, build trust, and contribute to team success. Ability and willingness to travel domestically, with up to 25% travel potentially required. Willingness to work at locations that may involve challenging terrain and conditions typical of construction sites. RCDD certification or other recognized industry certifications is preferred. Proven ability to build strong client relationships and establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders is preferred. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship . Benefits $105,000–$130,000 annual salary , with final compensation based on qualifications, experience, work location, and education. Eligibility for an annual bonus .
