ServiceNow Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ServiceNow Developer based in India. We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and optimize workflows and platform solutions that support business operations and improve service delivery. In this role, you will focus on creating efficient workflows, intuitive forms, and robust platform customizations tailored to business requirements. You will contribute to the development and enhancement of ServiceNow capabilities, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with operational needs. This opportunity is ideal for a developer with strong technical expertise and a practical approach to solving workflow and platform challenges. You will work remotely while collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams operating in a U.S. Eastern Time (EST) schedule. The initial contract is for six months, with the potential for a long-term extension of up to four years.

Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow workflows to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Create and customize ServiceNow forms, ensuring intuitive user experiences and alignment with functional requirements. Develop and enhance platform components, configurations, and customizations to meet evolving business needs. Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions using ServiceNow development best practices. Troubleshoot platform issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement reliable solutions. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate proposed solutions, and ensure successful implementation. Maintain clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing to facilitate ongoing platform maintenance and enhancements. Deliver assigned development tasks within agreed timelines while maintaining quality, scalability, and platform stability. Requirements: Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, particularly workflow design, form design, and platform development. Demonstrated ability to configure and customize ServiceNow capabilities to meet business and operational requirements. Good understanding of workflow automation, platform configuration, and ServiceNow development best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver effective solutions. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical implementations. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Availability to work according to a U.S. Eastern Time (EST) schedule. Legal eligibility to work in India; no additional visa restrictions are specified, provided the candidate is legally authorized to work. Ability to use personal computer equipment, as a laptop or PC will not be provided. Availability to participate in a phone interview and join at short notice, as the requirement is immediate.
