Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media & Content Coordinator based in the United States. This is a creative, hands-on opportunity within a growing marketing team, focused on building an engaging and recognizable social media presence. You will contribute to content strategy, social media execution, community engagement, and user-generated content across multiple platforms. The role combines creative production with performance analysis, allowing you to test ideas and use data to improve future content. You will serve as an on-camera creator while developing graphics, short-form videos, and other social assets that reflect established brand standards. You’ll work closely with marketing, design, paid media, and content teams in a collaborative and fast-moving environment. The position offers significant room to take ownership, experiment with emerging trends, and bring new ideas to life. It is particularly suited to someone looking to grow both creatively and strategically within social media and digital marketing.

Partner with the Brand Manager to develop social media concepts and execute content strategies informed by competitive research and platform-specific audiences. Create social media graphics, videos, and other digital content using Canva or similar tools while maintaining brand consistency and visual quality. Serve as a primary creator and on-camera presence for user-generated content across paid and organic marketing channels. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, mentions, reviews, and other audience interactions across social and review platforms in a timely manner. Monitor social media performance, capture relevant metrics, and use insights to inform creative testing and future content decisions. Maintain an organized social media calendar with content plans and outlines prepared at least one month in advance. Identify emerging trends, platform features, technologies, and optimization opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations. Monitor internet culture, industry news, social trends, and relevant PR mentions to identify timely content opportunities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across paid media, design, content, and marketing to ensure creative assets support broader campaign objectives. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements when creating or managing content. Support additional marketing initiatives, events, and content-creation activities as needed. Attend onsite planning sessions at least twice annually and travel occasionally for relevant content-creation opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Professional, internship, academic, freelance, or relevant personal experience managing or supporting social media accounts. Familiarity with major platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Portfolio or work samples demonstrating social media content creation, user-generated content, design, video, or other relevant creative work. Confidence and comfort creating and appearing in on-camera content. Proficiency with Canva or comparable creative tools. Familiarity with social media scheduling or management platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar tools. Understanding of how brands can participate authentically in social conversations while maintaining appropriate brand safety. Strong awareness of internet culture, social trends, and meme culture, with sound judgment regarding their appropriate use. Strong visual and design sensibility, particularly in relation to social engagement and brand consistency. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects. Self-motivated, curious, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative without extensive direction. Ability to experiment, respond constructively to feedback, learn from performance results, and continuously improve creative work. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders. Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly and maintain confidentiality. Experience with short-form video, social analytics, or content creation for a brand, organization, freelance client, or personal platform is a plus. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus. Ability to attend required onsite planning sessions and travel occasionally for content creation. Benefits Remote work opportunity within the United States. Competitive compensation. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. FSA and HSA options. Optional life insurance. 401(k) retirement plan with company match. 12 weeks of parental leave for birthing parents and 4 weeks for non-birthing parents. Additional parental benefits, including fertility support, free diapers, and breast pump benefits. Paid holidays. PTO accrual beginning on day one. Employee Assistance Program and additional mental health resources. Company-provided device and content-creation equipment, including a tripod and lighting, along with products and materials needed for UGC creation. Opportunities to develop creative, strategic, and digital marketing skills within a growing team.
