ABOUT THE ROLE This role owns the full social media and content presence for an AI-native immigration law firm, sitting within the marketing function and reporting to the Head of Marketing. You will transform expert legal content into premium, editorial-quality visuals and short-form video that make immigration law clear, accessible, and engaging for a growing audience. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage day-to-day publishing and community engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and other channels.
- Build and maintain a content calendar that balances timely immigration news with evergreen educational content.
- Design high-quality graphics, carousels, and visual templates from material supplied by the legal writing team.
- Appear on camera and film, edit, and publish polished short-form video (Reels, Shorts) with strong pacing, captions, and hooks.
- Uphold and evolve brand guidelines so every published asset looks and feels consistent.
- Track performance metrics and iterate content strategy based on what drives growth and engagement.
- Represent the brand at industry and community events in person. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2 to 7 years of experience in social media, content design, or growth marketing, ideally at an early-stage startup.
- A strong design eye with a portfolio demonstrating premium, editorial-quality social content across multiple professional projects.
- Confidence and polish on camera, with proven ability to clearly explain complex or regulated topics in short-form video.
- Solid video editing skills including transitions, captions, hooks, and platform-native techniques.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one creative tool such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, or a comparable equivalent.
- Excellent written communication and judgment when translating dense, compliance-sensitive topics for a general audience.
- Experience marketing trust-heavy or regulated services such as legal tech, fintech, or healthcare is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of basic HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Personal connection to immigration, international mobility, or immigrant communities is a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LOCATION Based in San Francisco, CA, United States. Strong preference for in-office presence at least three days per week; exceptional remote candidates within the US may be considered.
