About the Role

This is a full-time, hands-on role owning the social media presence and visual content output for an AI-native immigration law firm. Sitting within the marketing function and reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will transform expert-driven legal content into premium, editorial-quality social content that educates and grows an engaged audience across multiple platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Own day-to-day management, publishing, and community engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and additional channels as the brand grows.

  • Build and maintain a content calendar balancing timely immigration news with evergreen educational content.

  • Design high-quality graphics, carousels, and repeatable visual templates from material produced by the legal writing team.

  • Uphold and evolve brand guidelines so every published asset looks and feels consistent and premium.

  • Appear on camera and film, direct, and edit polished short-form video (Reels, Shorts) with strong pacing, captions, and hooks.

  • Track performance metrics and iterate on content strategy based on what the data shows.

  • Attend industry and community events on behalf of the brand and support community engagement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 2 to 7 years of social media, content, or growth marketing experience, ideally at an early-stage startup.

  • A strong, demonstrable design eye with a portfolio showing premium, editorial-quality social graphics and video work across multiple professional projects.

  • Confidence and polish on camera, with proven ability to present and explain complex topics clearly in short-form video.

  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one design tool such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, or similar.

  • Solid video editing skills including platform-native techniques, transitions, and caption workflows.

  • Strong written communication skills and the judgment to translate dense, regulated-topic content into clear and engaging posts.

  • Experience marketing trust-heavy or compliance-sensitive services (legal tech, fintech, healthcare, or similar) is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of basic HTML and CSS is a plus.

  • Personal connection to immigration or international communities is a plus.

  • Ability to work from the San Francisco office at least three days per week; exceptional fully remote candidates may be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

Based in San Francisco, California. Strong preference for in-person work at least three days per week; exceptional remote candidates within the United States may be considered.
