Build AI-powered developer tools: Design, develop, and maintain AI infrastructure and products that improve engineering productivity throughout the software development lifecycle. Drive technical strategy: Contribute to the team's AI for Developers roadmap, taking ideas from initial exploration through implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement. Develop scalable platforms: Build foundational infrastructure, SDKs, and frameworks that enable engineering teams to create and deploy their own domain-specific AI applications quickly and efficiently. Explore emerging AI technologies: Evaluate new models, frameworks, agentic coding tools, and asynchronous AI workflows, balancing experimentation with measurable improvements in developer productivity. Support internal teams: Act as a technical advisor, mentor, and consultant, helping engineers and technical leaders adopt AI capabilities and integrate them into their daily workflows. Make sound engineering decisions: Establish pragmatic architectures and implementation approaches that balance innovation, scalability, maintainability, and operational requirements. Maintain engineering excellence: Deliver high-quality code, thoughtful technical designs, reliable systems, and effective operational practices. Ensure platform reliability: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve the performance and resilience of developer infrastructure. Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with partner engineering teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities, share knowledge, and deliver solutions that address real development challenges. Requirements Professional experience: At least 2 years of industry experience in software engineering or equivalent practical expertise. Software development skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Go, Python, TypeScript, or Kotlin. Developer infrastructure experience: Previous experience building developer tools, internal platforms, infrastructure, or productivity-focused systems, ideally at scale. Applied AI expertise: Hands-on experience using AI technologies to solve practical software development problems, with an understanding of how to integrate AI capabilities into real-world workflows. Technical adaptability: Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, programming languages, and technical domains quickly, with a genuine interest in continuous learning and experimentation. Architectural judgment: Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make pragmatic decisions that support reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems. Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Cross-functional collaboration: Experience partnering with multiple teams to understand requirements, solve problems, and deliver impactful technical solutions. Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience. Benefits Competitive compensation: Annual base salary ranging from $162,000 to $190,000 USD , depending on experience, skills, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation: Potential eligibility for performance-based bonuses and equity, subject to the applicable compensation package.
