· Design, build, and operate scalable, secure microservices with minimal oversight · Turn customer needs and business goals into clear technical requirements, and drive them to delivery alongside product, security, and operations partners · Deploy to the cloud (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure) using Terraform, and run containerized workloads on Docker and Kubernetes · Ship well-tested code and improve our automated testing and CI/CD pipelines · Review code and designs, and mentor teammates through pairing and constructive feedback · Build with security in mind to protect applications from vulnerabilities · Use AI-assisted and spec-driven development tools to move faster without sacrificing quality · Keep documentation current for the systems you own · Join our on-call rotation for production incidents
· 5+ years of professional software development experience · Strong skills in Go or Python · Experience building APIs and microservices · Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes · Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Terraform · Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins · Working knowledge of observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic) · Familiarity with core cybersecurity principles · Experience with spec-driven development or other agentic development tools · A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
