At Optiver, we’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Global Talent Assessment Tooling Team (GTAT), the cornerstone of our global recruitment, engaging 100,000+ users annually. You'll be instrumental in ensuring scalability and reliability of our in house built platforms. With expertise in server-side platforms and a genuine interest in UI/UX, you'll contribute to the full software development lifecycle of our global platforms, serving as the central hub for all talent assessments, training and education activities, and test authorization. Today, we are at the forefront of trading and technology as a leading global electronic market maker, focused on pricing, execution and risk management.  What you’ll do As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our talent assessment tooling platform and our assessments. This critical infrastructure is key to our ability to hire at scale and speed, representing one of the first interactions individuals have with Optiver during their recruitment journey. You’ll work within a dynamic team to ensure the platform's scalability and reliability, contributing to the success of our global talent assessment initiatives. You’ll work closely with our recruitment teams globally on a day to day basis to ensure that the platform is scalable, reliable, and user-friendly. Some of what you’ll do day to day: Design, develop and maintain our assessment tooling platform and features supporting recruitment Collaborate with recruitment teams on a global scale to ensure that the platform is scalable, reliable, and user-friendly Write clean, maintainable code that is easy to understand and modify and participate in code reviews to ensure that code meets quality standards Utilize frontend technologies (React/Angular) to enhance user interfaces and experiences. Who You Are   Strong technical background consisting of 3+ years of experience in full stack development Proficiency in server-side development utilizing C# .NET or Python  Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or SQL Server) Experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks A proactive approach to problem solving and an entrepreneurial attitude  Ability to clearly explain your thoughts through written and verbal communication, ask the right questions, and work collaboratively with a range of technical and non technical stakeholders   Nice to Haves Experience in UI/UX design Experience with server hosting on cloud providers (e.g. AWS)   What you'll get You’ll join a culture of collaboration and excellence, where you’ll be surrounded by curious thinkers and creative problem solvers.
