The Solutions Architect will serve as a technical subject matter expert, guiding enterprise architecture strategy, governance, security, and modernization across complex IT environments. This role focuses on integrating and optimizing systems, data, and networks across cloud and on-premises infrastructure while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Working closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and technical teams, you will translate strategic needs into secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions. You will lead architecture design, oversee implementation, and support system integration, migration, and transformation initiatives. Ensure reliable integration between identity, onboarding, asset management, reporting, and other enterprise systems. Develop pilots and proofs of concept to demonstrate solution feasibility, value, and technical capabilities. Create architecture diagrams, models, roadmaps, and technical documentation using approved frameworks, technologies, and platforms. Provide technical leadership throughout implementation and ongoing support, resolving complex challenges and guiding critical decisions. Contribute to System Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) documentation and processes. Ensure solutions meet security, data protection, governance, interoperability, reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency standards. Support security assessments, certifications, audits, and authorization activities while maintaining alignment with applicable regulatory and departmental requirements. Build and maintain knowledge bases, onboarding materials, and step-by-step guides using collaboration platforms such as Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. Support level-of-effort estimates, staffing plans, project scoping, and acquisition package development. Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to cost efficiency, resource utilization, cloud consumption, and business trends. Track emerging technologies, including advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, large language models, and robotic process automation, and recommend improvements where appropriate. Coordinate dependencies across technical teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions integrate effectively with existing systems and support broader transformation goals. Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Management, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in an IT development environment. Five years of experience in a Solutions Architect role, including leadership of transformation initiatives. Knowledge of enterprise architecture, data quality, data protection, governance, cybersecurity, and government regulatory requirements. Familiarity with data migration, data mapping, data modeling, microservices, and composable business systems. Understanding of risk management frameworks, change management strategies, stakeholder dependencies, and performance measurement. Familiarity with advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, large language models, and robotic process automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to break down complex challenges into manageable objectives and make sound, timely decisions. Demonstrated leadership, project oversight, prioritization, and decision-making skills, with the ability to align initiatives with departmental strategy. Excellent communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to present technical concepts and transformation roadmaps to senior stakeholders. A collaborative, results-oriented approach, with strong professional integrity, adaptability, initiative, and the ability to manage adversity, resolve conflicts, and build trust across teams.
