Full job description
Monaco is building an AI-native revenue platform that replaces the fragmented GTM stack - CRM, sequencing, call recording, enrichment, pipeline management with one unified system, consolidating 6–10 disconnected tools into a single platform built for the AI era. We launched publicly in Feb 2026, are already 65 people, and have strong early product-market fit generating millions in ARR within months of launch. You'll have the chance to both scale our core systems and build new features from 0 to 1. We've raised $85M in our Series B from Founders Fund, Benchmark, and Human Capital, and our founders previously led Brex, Apollo, and Clari. Come join us if you want to be part of a high autonomy, high pace team reinventing one of the biggest categories in enterprise software. THE ROLE As Monaco's first Solutions Engineer, you're the technical lead on our upmarket deals. You learn how a customer's sales system works today, design how it will run on Monaco, and help the account executive close. Our upmarket customers are growing sales teams moving off an existing CRM, and no two setups match. You scope that move, decide with our product team what we can deliver, and hand a defined plan to our implementation team. You'll sit on the sales team. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead technical discovery. Map how the customer runs revenue today: CRM objects, fields and relationships, pipelines, routing, reporting, integrations, and the workflows reps actually use.
- Design the future state. Show how their process will run on Monaco, with agents doing the work their team does by hand today.
- Demo it. Build demo accounts and walk VPs of Sales and RevOps leaders through that future state, and help the account executive close.
- Scope the migration. Plan the move off their current CRM end to end: what data comes over, how it maps, how we validate it, and when we cut over.
- Be the gate. Decide with product whether a requested scope is something Monaco can deliver today, and flag deals that fall outside our upmarket focus.
- Hand off and feed back. Give implementation a defined plan, and turn recurring gaps into clear requirements for product and engineering. WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 4+ years in RevOps, GTM systems or solutions engineering
- Deep knowledge of how B2B GTM systems work end to end: lifecycle stages, routing, automation, reporting and permissions
- You've personally architected, customized, integrated or migrated complex CRM setups in Salesforce, HubSpot or similar, and you can quickly read a customer's objects, fields, workflows, data volume and history
- You know how a sales tech stack fits together, from CRM to sequencing, enrichment and call recording, and how data moves between the tools
- You've built integrations and workflows yourself, with APIs, webhooks and structured data, ideally SQL or scripting
- Experience building automations or AI agents into a sales process
- Customer-facing experience: you've run discovery, designed solutions and presented them to sales leaders as a consultant, solutions engineer or in another client-facing role, and you've helped close deals Nice to have
- You've been the first solutions engineer somewhere, or built the function from scratch
- Experience with fast-growing sales teams moving off their first CRM LOCATION San Francisco. We're an in-person team, 5 days a week in the office. BENEFITS
