Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi’s framework for students joining from September 2026 onward includes a full tuition-and-study-fee scholarship for eligible Emirati students and merit scholarships worth 50% or 75% of tuition for qualifying new high-school applicants.

Admitted Emirati nationals and children of Emirati mothers receive the HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Scholarship covering tuition and study-related fees for bachelor’s programs and Foundation Year where applicable. New high-school students who are not sponsored may apply for the Undergraduate Merit Scholarship: 50% or 75% of tuition for the full academic year, depending on curriculum-specific academic thresholds. SUAD also publishes academic-excellence routes for transfer and continuing students. Scholarship and discount combinations follow the university’s published rules and are capped at 100%.
Eligibility requirements
For the new-student merit award, applicants must apply for the scholarship, must not be on academic probation or subject to mandatory remedial courses, must not be sponsored, and must be in the final year of high school with the required average over the last three semesters. Examples include 95% for the 50% tier or 97% for the 75% tier in UAE Government School streams, with equivalent thresholds for American, British, IB, SABIS, French and other systems. The full HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed scholarship applies to admitted Emirati nationals and children of Emirati mothers.
