Identify and implement technology solutions that help business units achieve strategic objectives and address operational deficiencies. Create and maintain clear technical and functional specifications, system documentation, charts, tables, and diagrams. Review technical documentation and deliverables prepared by less experienced team members. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, policies, processes, and vendor solutions where they can improve efficiency or system effectiveness. Maintain the reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness of supported applications. Promote and follow established development standards, procedures, internal controls, and technology practices. Develop a strong understanding of the supported business functions, processes, operations, and strategic direction. Support risk management and regulatory requirements by identifying issues requiring escalation and adhering to applicable policies and controls. Support internal and external audit requirements and assist with timely resolution of identified issues. Contribute to due diligence, cost-benefit analyses, business studies, and other technical or strategic initiatives as required. Provide technical leadership on assigned project activities and serve as a technical representative for committees or ad hoc initiatives when needed. Requirements: Associate degree with at least 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a combination of at least 7 years of higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 5 years in systems analysis or application development. Familiarity with application development software, technical environments, and hardware platforms. Proficiency with personal computers and relevant project management, word processing, spreadsheet, and productivity tools. Ability to manage multiple complex projects or project components simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate issues and develop effective solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting technical information to relevant audiences. Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong lateral-thinking and analytical abilities for addressing complex technical and business challenges. Experience coordinating between application development teams and business units. Experience recommending and implementing technology or systems solutions. Demonstrated ability to drive project milestones, timelines, and delivery dates. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Ability to multitask across multiple components of complex technology projects. Proactive, action-oriented approach with strong ownership of assigned responsibilities. Advanced understanding of supported applications and their interfaces or integrated systems. Strong understanding of the broader system environment and ability to contribute to projects beyond routine business-as-usual activities. Familiarity with financial services or banking application frameworks is preferred. Benefits: Remote work arrangement. Contract position.
