The Sr. Accounting Transformation Lead will help shape and modernize the global accounting operating model within a high-growth environment. This strategic role partners closely with senior accounting leadership to identify and deliver transformation priorities that support scalability and long-term growth. You will assess people, processes, technology, data, governance, and controls to uncover opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness. The role spans global process standardization, automation, technology enablement, and public-company readiness. Partner with accounting leaders to establish clear roles, responsibilities, policies, procedures, performance expectations, and operating standards. Identify opportunities to use automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, workflow solutions, and other technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, controls, and decision-making. Collaborate with Technology and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize investments, and successfully implement finance technology solutions while reducing fragmented tools and manual processes. Lead critical accounting readiness activities related to SEC-compliant reporting, disclosure processes, close and reporting timelines, supporting documentation, and reporting governance. Identify and help resolve operational, process, or control gaps that could affect public-company readiness or sustainable future operations. Provide senior leadership with clear reporting on transformation priorities, progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, and resource needs. Lead change-management activities to drive adoption of new processes, technologies, organizational structures, and ways of working. Build strong relationships across functions and geographies, influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels and promoting continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA certification is strongly preferred. Approximately 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, controllership, finance transformation, or related disciplines, including significant leadership experience in complex, high-growth organizations. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Finance or Accounting transformation initiatives involving multiple functions, geographies, systems, and stakeholders. Proven ability to redesign, standardize, and improve accounting processes and operating models. Strong understanding of finance technology ecosystems, including ERP, consolidation, financial reporting, close management, reconciliation, workflow, automation, data, and analytics solutions. Experience in public accounting and/or within a large, complex multinational organization is preferred. Exceptional project and program management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into structured execution plans and deliver measurable results. Strong change-management and stakeholder-influence capabilities, with the ability to build alignment across senior leaders and geographically dispersed teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex transformation initiatives clearly and concisely to executive audiences. Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and operational-excellence skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to transformation. Benefits Annual base salary range of $150,000–$206,000 , depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Potential eligibility for discretionary annual bonuses. Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, and disability insurance. Access to coaching and therapy services. Equity opportunities through discretionary restricted stock units. Paid vacation, sick leave, and company holidays. Paid parental leave. 401(k) plan with up to 3% employer matching. Monthly technology allowance. Well-being programs, activities, community celebrations, and additional employee perks. Remote work environment with opportunities to collaborate across functions and geographies.
