Travel and client engagement: Travel as needed, including client meetings and business-related engagements, with travel requirements of up to 25%. Requirements Education and experience: Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in Tribal/IHS (I/T/U) client management, third-party administration (TPA), or a comparable health insurance environment involving client-facing or client support responsibilities; alternatively, a high school diploma with at least 11 years of healthcare or health insurance industry experience. Tribal and IHS expertise: Strong understanding of Tribal/IHS (I/T/U) healthcare administration, self-funded health plans, and employee benefits. Direct Tribal healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with federal employee benefits and healthcare regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Client management and business development: Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts, strengthen client relationships, retain business, identify growth opportunities, and deliver results against commercial objectives. Leadership and mentoring: Ability to guide and develop colleagues, support team performance, and influence stakeholders across different organizational levels. Executive communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation abilities, and confidence interacting with senior executives, clients, and brokers. Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, creative decision-making, and time management skills, with the ability to interpret information and develop practical solutions.
