Full Job Description

Amazon's growth is fueled by exceptional leaders, and how we reward them matters. Our Executive Compensation team is at the center of that work, designing strategies that attract, retain, and motivate the senior talent shaping Amazon's future.

  • Our Executive Compensation team sits at the intersection of talent, strategy, and business impact. We don't just run numbers. We shape how Amazon attracts, rewards, and retains the leaders building the future.

  • We're looking for a Sr. Compensation Consultant who gets energized by ambiguity, brings creative firepower to the table, and wants to own executive comp strategy on a global stage.

  • You'll have a seat at the table with Amazon's most senior leaders, influencing decisions that directly impact organizational performance. The scope is global. The problems are complex. You'll operate with real autonomy and ownership in an environment that values invention, speed, and the highest standards. If you want to do the most impactful comp work of your career, this is it.

Key job responsibilities What You'll Do

Own the strategy end to end. You'll lead executive compensation planning and execution for your supported organizations globally. No hand-holding, no playbook. You build it.

Be the trusted advisor in the room. Partner directly with VPs, Directors, senior HR leaders, and Executive Recruiting to design compensation strategies that align with Amazon's philosophy while meeting the unique needs of each org.

Solve problems that don't have obvious answers. Develop creative, data-driven solutions to complex comp challenges, balancing competitiveness, equity, risk, and reward.

Go deep on the data. Analyze global compensation programs, assess market competitiveness, and model the impact of alternatives so leaders can make informed decisions.

Build mechanisms that scale. Partner with compensation tech teams to implement tools and automation that drive operational excellence across the function.

Stay ahead of the curve. Conduct custom market surveys, tap industry contacts, and proactively surface compensation needs before they become problems.

About the team The Executive Compensation team sits within Amazon's Senior Talent and Transformation (STT) organization. We're a tight-knit group of comp strategists who partner across the business to ensure Amazon's most senior leaders are rewarded in ways that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with long-term business goals. Our work spans every geography Amazon operates in, and no two days look the same. We operate with a high degree of autonomy, move fast, and hold ourselves to the highest standards. If you're looking for a team where your work has direct, visible impact on the business, this is it.
