Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Director, Data Monetization based in United States. This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth across a data monetization business. You will build and close a high-value pipeline of lead buyers, resellers, and strategic partners across insurance and adjacent verticals. The role combines business development, marketplace negotiations, data strategy, and commercial expansion into new customer segments. You will balance buyer demand, publisher supply, pricing, margins, volume commitments, and fill rates to maximize the value of available data inventory. Working cross-functionally with compliance, data quality, product, and operations teams, you will help shape offerings around customer requirements and regulatory standards. The position offers significant autonomy and direct ownership of a revenue line, with visibility into performance, forecasting, and growth strategy. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially ambitious data or lead-generation leader with strong industry relationships and a proven record of closing complex deals.

Own revenue growth for the data monetization business, building and closing a pipeline of lead buyers and resellers across insurance and adjacent industries. Identify and prioritize new verticals and account types, assessing market demand and developing compelling business cases for expansion. Build and maintain strategic relationships with lead buyers, resellers, publishers, affiliate networks, and other marketplace participants. Negotiate pricing, volume commitments, exclusivity arrangements, and other commercial terms with both buyers and data suppliers. Balance margin, demand, supply, and fill-rate considerations to optimize the commercial performance of the monetization portfolio. Partner with compliance and data quality teams to ensure records meet applicable buyer requirements, including TCPA, consent, duplicate suppression, and relevant data-quality standards. Collaborate with product and operations teams to define aging tiers, filtering criteria, and delivery mechanisms aligned with customer needs. Help shape filtering and segmentation strategies based on industry, geography, age bands, and other relevant data attributes. Support delivery through APIs, batch files, or other mechanisms appropriate to buyer requirements. Monitor pipeline development, win/loss performance, revenue, margins, and lead-quality metrics. Forecast revenue growth and provide clear performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Represent the data monetization offering at industry conferences, partner meetings, and other relevant commercial forums. Continuously identify opportunities to expand the monetization pool, strengthen partnerships, and improve commercial performance. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within lead generation, performance marketing, data licensing, or a closely related field. Direct experience buying or selling leads or data within insurance, financial services, home services, or adjacent verticals. Demonstrated success building and closing six- or seven-figure commercial deals with lead buyers, resellers, affiliate networks, or comparable partners. Strong understanding of lead compliance requirements, including TCPA, consent-based marketing, and industry data-quality standards such as Jornaya/LeadiD. Experience negotiating both sides of a marketplace transaction, balancing buyer demand with publisher or supplier economics. Strong quantitative and commercial fluency, including experience working with fill rate, CPA, margin, cohort-based lead quality, and revenue performance metrics. Strong negotiation, business development, relationship management, and commercial strategy skills. Ability to identify market opportunities, assess demand, develop business cases, and translate strategy into measurable revenue growth. Self-directed and highly accountable, with the ability to independently own a revenue line and make decisions in a remote environment. Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence representing a data monetization offering to senior partners and industry stakeholders. Existing relationships with lead resellers or affiliate networks in insurance or adjacent verticals are highly valued. Experience working at a lead exchange or marketplace, or on the buy side for an insurance carrier or agency, is a plus. Benefits: Competitive compensation package designed to recognize and reward commercial impact. Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance. Fully remote position based in the United States. Opportunity to own and directly influence a significant revenue-generating business line. High degree of autonomy and visibility into commercial strategy, performance, and growth. Opportunity to expand a data monetization business into new verticals and customer segments. Exposure to complex marketplace transactions involving buyers, resellers, publishers, and strategic partners. Collaboration with an international and growth-oriented team. Opportunity to shape business strategy, culture, and employee experience. Industry exposure through conferences, partner engagements, and commercial networking. Senior leadership opportunity at the intersection of data, lead generation, performance marketing, and revenue growth.
