Review configurations across client Azure subscriptions and recommend practical improvements. Perform supportability reviews ahead of planned Azure migrations and deployments. Identify dependencies and operational gaps in proposed Azure changes. Advise clients on relevant Azure capabilities and product changes that could improve existing environments, including cost and operational implications. Build and maintain working knowledge of each client’s technology, processes, stakeholders, and operational priorities. Assess current deployments and contribute design input for enhancements. Perform approved configuration tuning within the agreed proactive engineering scope. Document findings, prioritized recommendations, implementation steps, and completed changes. Schedule work with the Client Success Manager, estimate and track hours, and communicate progress in client reviews. Identify migrations, new landing zones, major implementations, and other requests requiring separately scoped project work.
Strong working knowledge of Azure administration, including subscriptions, identity and access, networking, compute, storage, monitoring, security, and governance. Experience assessing production Azure environments and turning findings into practical, prioritized recommendations. Ability to independently evaluate supportability and perform changes through client change-control processes. Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Azure administration tools. Strong documentation, effort-estimation, and client communication skills. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
5–7 years of relevant hands-on Azure engineering experience, including enterprise client experience. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305). Experience with Bicep or Terraform, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Entra ID. Experience delivering planned engineering work across multiple clients.
