Amazon is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Marketing drive customer acquisition and engagement for the Core Consumables (National FMCG business) in India. You will work in ambiguity, building and communicating a clear approach and ensuring that we are balancing customer needs, competitive landscape and the strategic priorities constantly while driving business growth.

Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities This is a large category with rapidly growing online share and there is significant room to innovate and solve key customer problems. As someone leading this, you will be expected to spike on the following abilities - (1) deep understanding of customer behavior on-site, (2) familiarity with tactics to influence customer behaviors (promotions, merchandising), (3) experience of setting up mechanisms to understand customer insights, (4) strong analytical skills to deep dive on customer data to identify trends and actionable insights. (5) Build and manage a team of marketeers

We expect the Marketing Manager to be a passionate customer advocate within Amazon, with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. The Marketing Manager must be an effective negotiator, leader and communicator in working with some of Amazon’s most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal cross-functional teams. He /she is expected to drive projects of high complexity and operates with significant autonomy and discretion while influencing other external teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Experience communicating results to stakeholders
  • Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video and paid social
  • Experience leading across multiple locales
