Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Principal Product Manager, AI Agents based in Canada. We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded product leader to define and drive a company-wide vision for AI Agents in the fitness technology industry. In this role, you will identify high-impact opportunities where AI-powered agents can transform business operations, improve customer experiences, and create new revenue streams. You will shape product strategy, establish guiding principles, and translate emerging AI capabilities into differentiated, market-ready solutions. Working across product, engineering, architecture, and go-to-market teams, you will lead new offerings from discovery and validation through launch and growth. This remote opportunity calls for an experienced leader who thrives in ambiguity, combines strong technical understanding with commercial judgment, and can influence strategy across an organization. Your work will help establish AI Agents as a meaningful driver of customer value and competitive advantage.

Define and own the company-wide product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI Agents, determining investment priorities and competitive differentiation. Establish product principles, standards, and decision-making frameworks for AI Agents as the technology and market continue to evolve. Monitor emerging AI capabilities, technologies, and market trends, translating relevant developments into actionable product opportunities. Identify and validate high-value opportunities through customer discovery, market research, business analysis, and experimentation. Develop compelling business cases for new AI Agent products, defining target customers, customer problems, differentiated value propositions, monetization potential, strategic alignment, and measurable outcomes. Lead new AI Agent offerings from concept through launch and scale, collaborating with product, engineering, architecture, go-to-market, and other cross-functional teams. Influence product and technology decisions across teams outside your direct management scope, securing alignment and investment for capabilities that span the broader platform. Define success metrics for the AI Agent portfolio, including customer value, adoption, revenue generation, and competitive differentiation. Build alignment across product and engineering teams around the role of AI Agents within the broader platform and the criteria for evaluating and developing new opportunities. Ensure Agent initiatives move efficiently from initial concept to market launch, even when delivery requires coordination across multiple teams. Drive the development of a validated portfolio of AI Agent opportunities that address meaningful customer problems and deliver measurable commercial results. Requirements: 10+ years of Product Management experience, ideally including recent experience working with AI technologies. Demonstrated ability to define product vision and influence company-level strategy beyond managing an individual product or roadmap. Exceptional product judgment and customer empathy, with the ability to uncover underlying customer needs and distinguish them from surface-level requests. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to evaluate customer willingness to pay, monetization opportunities, and business impact. Proven ability to establish strategic direction in environments where market dynamics, technology, and customer expectations are evolving. Ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations, turning loosely defined objectives into clear priorities and actionable plans. Strong technical fluency, including familiarity with AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and modern AI architectures. Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence, with a track record of driving execution across teams without direct authority. Clear communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to challenge assumptions while remaining adaptable and collaborative. Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with the detailed product decisions required to deliver successful solutions. Nice to have: Experience building AI-powered products or agentic AI solutions. Experience launching and monetizing new B2B SaaS products. Background in vertical SaaS or operational workflow automation. Experience in fitness, wellness, or health club technology. Familiarity with gym management platforms or comparable vertical SaaS product suites. Benefits: Annual base salary: CAD $185,000–$195,000, with the final offer depending on experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market factors. Additional compensation: Eligible employees may receive bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive compensation, where applicable. Flexible time off: Open paid time off (PTO) policy. Quarterly Days of Disconnect: A shared day off each quarter to support rest and well-being. Parental and pet-parent leave: Leave options to support family growth, including welcoming children or new pets. Fitness and wellness reimbursement: Quarterly reimbursement to support individual fitness goals. Medical, dental, and vision coverage. Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Access to support and assistance when needed. Premium Calm subscription: Access to the Calm app for the employee and up to four dependents aged 16 or older. Learning and development: Ongoing opportunities to strengthen skills and support career growth. Values-driven culture: An inclusive, collaborative environment that encourages professional development, innovation, and teamwork. Additional employee benefits and programs may be available.
