Design, develop, test, and operate large-scale distributed services and platform components. Drive feature development from requirements through design, implementation, deployment, and production support. Improve scalability, reliability, availability, and performance of mission-critical services. Investigate and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems. Optimize latency, throughput, resource efficiency, and storage utilization. Develop and maintain service telemetry, monitoring, diagnostics, and automated recovery mechanisms. Contribute to architectural design reviews and technical decision making. Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end platform solutions. Apply AI-assisted development tools and AI-native engineering practices to improve development velocity and software quality. Build automation for testing, validation, deployment, and operational workflows. Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, design discussions, and operational best practices. Participate in on-call rotations and drive improvements that reduce operational burden. Leverage data and production insights to guide technical investments and architectural evolution. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and software design principles. Experience building and operating cloud services or distributed systems. Experience with service reliability, production operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to independently drive projects from conception to production.
