Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Strategic Account Executive based in the United States. The Sr. Strategic Account Executive will drive new business growth by selling advanced digital advertising solutions to sophisticated advertisers and agencies across display, connected TV (CTV), and digital out-of-home (DOOH) channels. This senior individual contributor role owns the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to strategic negotiations and closing high-value deals. You will build trusted relationships with senior marketing, media, and advertising decision-makers while identifying opportunities to expand media investment. Leveraging deep programmatic advertising expertise and consultative selling skills, you will translate complex customer challenges into differentiated commercial solutions. Working closely with Solutions, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, you will help develop compelling proposals and win new strategic accounts. This is an opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to influence go-to-market strategy and contribute directly to revenue growth in a fast-paced, technology-led environment. The role is available remotely in eligible U.S. locations, as well as in San Francisco and New York City.

Own the full sales cycle for strategic mid-market opportunities, from outbound prospecting and pipeline creation through proposal development, negotiation, and contract close. Build and maintain a strong self-generated pipeline, with a primary focus on acquiring new customers and winning net-new business. Develop trusted relationships with senior marketing, media, advertising, and agency stakeholders, building consensus across complex buying groups. Identify opportunities to increase customer media investment across display advertising, connected TV (CTV), and digital out-of-home (DOOH). Apply a deep understanding of programmatic advertising and advertising technology to position solutions effectively and demonstrate measurable business value. Lead consultative sales conversations to understand customer objectives, uncover challenges, and develop strategic, differentiated proposals. Create compelling commercial business cases that demonstrate the value of advertising solutions and support customer decision-making. Negotiate confidently with senior stakeholders, navigate complex procurement processes, and drive opportunities toward successful closure. Collaborate with Solutions, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to develop tailored strategies, strengthen proposals, and maximize the likelihood of winning business. Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate sales forecasts, and consistent CRM records to provide visibility into revenue performance and deal progression. Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets while contributing market insights and strategic recommendations to the broader go-to-market organization. Monitor industry developments, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities and strengthen commercial positioning. Requirements: At least seven years of experience in advertising technology and/or media sales, with experience selling across multiple media channels and strong expertise in one or more of CTV, DOOH, and display advertising. Experience selling from the technology platform side of the advertising ecosystem, ideally with a demand-side platform (DSP), supply-side platform (SSP), or another ad tech provider, rather than primarily selling media-owner inventory. Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, including buying models, audience targeting, campaign measurement, data, and the broader digital media ecosystem. A proven track record of independently generating sales pipeline, winning new customers, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Strong outbound prospecting skills and the ability to convert cold leads or underdeveloped relationships into qualified commercial opportunities. Demonstrated consultative and strategic selling capabilities, with the ability to connect advertising solutions to customer business objectives and measurable outcomes. Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, senior decision-makers, and sophisticated buying processes. Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, executive presence, and the ability to communicate value persuasively. Credibility with advertisers, agencies, and media buyers, including the confidence to challenge existing approaches and introduce new strategies. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills. A self-directed, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fast-moving, evolving environment. Strong pipeline organization, forecasting discipline, and CRM management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to develop customer-specific solutions and close high-value opportunities. Willingness to work from an eligible U.S. location; relocation assistance is not included. Benefits: Competitive on-target earnings (OTE) based on location and sales performance: San Francisco and New York metropolitan areas: $223,400–$281,400 OTE , including a base salary of $111,700–$140,700 and target incentive of $111,700–$140,700. Uncapped sales incentive opportunity, with quarterly incentive payments and accelerators for exceeding sales targets, subject to the applicable compensation plan. Equity compensation. Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including employee-only medical coverage with 100% of the HSA plan premium covered and 95% of the PPO, HMO, dental, and vision plan premiums covered. Employer contribution of 75% toward dependent medical, dental, and vision premiums. 401(k) retirement savings plan with pre-tax, Roth, and after-tax contribution options. Four weeks of paid time off and a focus on work-life balance. Short-term and long-term disability insurance at no cost to employees. Basic life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to employees. Paid leave options, including up to six weeks of disability leave, up to 12 weeks of pregnancy disability leave, up to 12 weeks of paid family leave for birthing parents in addition to pregnancy disability leave, up to 16 weeks for non-birthing parents, and up to 12 weeks to care for a family member.
