Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Solutions Architect, AI Subject Matter Expert based in Switzerland. Join a globally distributed Solutions Architecture team as a senior technical expert shaping how enterprise customers adopt AI-powered development and DevSecOps technologies. In this role, you will guide complex, high-value opportunities by translating advanced product capabilities into practical architectures and measurable business outcomes. You will specialize in one product domain, partnering with account teams, Product Management, and Engineering to influence technical decisions and customer success. Through technical workshops, proof-of-value evaluations, and competitive positioning, you will help organizations solve critical challenges and accelerate adoption. You will also build reusable resources, mentor fellow architects, and bring customer insights directly into product development. This fully remote opportunity combines technical leadership, customer engagement, and strategic influence in an AI-driven environment.
As a Staff Solutions Architect and AI Subject Matter Expert, you will serve as the technical authority for a specialized product group, supporting complex enterprise opportunities and helping scale expertise across the global Solutions Architecture organization. Your responsibilities will include: Lead technical discovery, architecture design, product demonstrations, trials, and proof-of-value (PoV) evaluations for prioritized enterprise opportunities. Deliver technical deep dives, workshops, and executive briefings that connect product capabilities to customer business outcomes and differentiate solutions from competing platforms. Develop and refine standardized PoV templates, product-specific evaluation content, and measurable success criteria while ensuring evaluations align with the broader platform. Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to support product launches, create demonstrations and sales talk tracks, and turn early customer successes into reference stories. Act as an escalation point for Account Solutions Architects and Post-Sales Solutions Architects on complex technical questions, integrations, and customer objections. Coordinate the transition of successful evaluations, architecture decisions, and success criteria to post-sales teams, remaining engaged until the first production workload is deployed. Support complex customer accounts when needed to accelerate adoption, production usage, and product consumption. Share structured customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and product requirements with Product Management and Engineering. Contribute to early-access initiatives and design-partner programs, and represent the organization at customer events, conferences, industry working groups, and through published technical content. Build reusable reference architectures, demo environments, competitive battlecards, PoV playbooks, and enablement materials that help account teams operate independently. Mentor Account Solutions Architects and contribute to the development of a global subject matter expert community. Track and improve performance through technical win rates, bookings, product-category targets, consumption growth, PoV conversion rates, evaluation timelines, production adoption, and the reuse and impact of enablement resources. Requirements: The ideal candidate brings substantial technical experience and the ability to influence enterprise technology decisions through hands-on expertise, strategic communication, and structured evaluation processes. You should be comfortable engaging with engineers and senior executives, collaborating across distributed teams, and translating complex technical concepts into clear, reusable guidance. Key qualifications include: Significant experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, consulting, or software engineering. Deep practical expertise in at least one of the following domains: Security and Compliance: Application security testing, software supply chain security, dependency management, compliance, or AI governance. Platform Architecture: Scalable cloud and hybrid environments, self-managed deployments, dedicated infrastructure, or bring-your-own-model architectures. Core DevSecOps: Large-scale CI/CD environments, source code management, software delivery workflows, or complex migrations. AI and Competitive Solutions: Production AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, working prototypes, or competitive technical evaluations. Practical experience with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows spanning planning, coding, testing, security, and software delivery in customer-facing or pre-sales environments. Proven ability to influence technical decisions in large, complex enterprise opportunities through structured Proof of Concept (PoC) or PoV evaluations, clearly defined success criteria, and executive sign-off. Hands-on knowledge of Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider. Ability to lead technical whiteboard discussions with engineering teams and communicate the business case effectively to executive stakeholders. Strong written communication skills, including the ability to turn complex technical topics into clear playbooks and enablement materials. Ability to work asynchronously across time zones and collaborate effectively with Sales, Product, and Engineering. Willingness to share knowledge, coach colleagues, and contribute to a global technical community. Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include public speaking experience, published technical content, open-source contributions, or relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, or security. Candidates with transferable experience in adjacent technical domains are also encouraged to apply. Benefits: Fully remote work: Join a globally distributed, all-remote team. Health, financial, and well-being benefits: Access a range of benefits designed to support overall well-being and financial security. Flexible paid time off: Flexibility to manage time away from work. Equity compensation: Opportunity to participate in equity compensation and an employee stock purchase plan. Growth and development fund: Resources to support ongoing learning and professional development. Parental leave: Benefits to support team members and their families. Inclusive employee communities: Access to team member resource groups and opportunities to connect with colleagues across the organization. Technical and strategic impact: Influence product direction, enterprise adoption, and AI-powered software development practices. Career development: Opportunities to deepen technical expertise, mentor peers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex customer challenges.
