UC’s Stan and Jessie Holland Memorial Scholarship supports eligible Māori and/or Pasifika postgraduate researchers in Ecology or Environmental Science, including eligible people of indigenous Fijian descent.

The current regulations provide NZD 21,000 per year; master’s tenure is one year and PhD tenure can run up to three years. The master’s scholarship is advertised annually.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must have Māori whakapapa and/or be Pasifika and undertake full-time research master’s or PhD study in Ecology or Environmental Science at UC. UC’s scholarship glossary includes Fiji in its Pacific-student definition.
