Starlink Consumer Strategy Lead (Forecasting)

STARLINK CONSUMER STRATEGY LEAD (FORECASTING) Starlink, our revolutionary satellite constellation, will deliver low-latency broadband internet worldwide. You will join the Growth team that is responsible for launching, growing, and improving Starlink around the world.  RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the primary Finance liaison for consumer growth, owning weekly / quarterly demand forecasts, long-term planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and related business cases Drive cross-functional new product roadmaps and launch planning with Product Engineering, Software Engineering, Global Operations, Supply Chain, and S&OP teams Continuously improve forecasting, reporting, and planning processes to support faster, better-informed decisions Analyze financial impact of growth experiments and forecast opportunities to drive prioritization of business and engineering initiatives Assess consumer insights and analytics to identify winning & losing demand generation approaches Lead the development and execution of strategic growth programs (e.g., campaigns, new channels) to maximize customer acquisition BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree 1+ years of cumulative work experience in management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, investment banking, or business operations 1+ years of experience using Excel for financial modeling PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of management consulting, growth strategy, go-to-market planning, investment banking, or business operations experience  1+ years in early and growth stage startups working with lean teams Distinctive business judgment and communication skills Excellent project management, problem solving and analysis skills Experience analyzing data, identifying insights, and developing creative approaches to solving problems Background in financial analysis and working with SQL and/or Python Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives Industry experience in telecom, technology, consumer products, automotive, and/or maritime ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed Willingness to travel to customer sites, other SpaceX locations, and events as needed COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: Level 1: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 Level 2: $95,000.00 - $145,000.00 Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
