Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Communications & Web Project Manager (Contract) based in the United States. The Strategic Communications & Web Project Manager will oversee digital production and strategic communications projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables are launched accurately and on schedule. This contract role focuses on two key workstreams: an internal Strategic Partnerships Office Hub website and hyperlocal community one-pagers for external audiences. Acting as the operational link between leadership, creative teams, community development stakeholders, and external agency partners, you will keep projects organized and moving forward. You will coordinate content development, design reviews, stakeholder feedback, quality assurance, and website updates. Success in this role requires strong project management, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining timelines and budgets. This is an immediate-start contract opportunity running through the end of the year, within a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Lead the planning, coordination, and launch of an internal Strategic Partnerships Office Hub website, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements and timelines. Manage website content from submission through publication, coordinating reviews and uploading approved materials through the Wagtail content management system (CMS). Gather, consolidate, and communicate stakeholder feedback throughout design and development, ensuring revisions are clearly documented and actioned. Coordinate with leadership, copywriters, designers, and other internal stakeholders to manage content drafts, design iterations, and approvals. Review staging websites, test deliverables against requirements, document quality assurance issues, and track bug resolution through internal ticketing systems. Serve as the primary liaison for external agency partners, overseeing deliverables and accountability against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Lead weekly agency status meetings, facilitate design reviews, communicate decisions, and ensure follow-up actions are completed. Manage the development of hyperlocal community one-pagers for use by Community Development Managers in data center markets, supporting clear and effective communication with external audiences. Coordinate copywriting and design workflows for community one-pagers, managing drafts, revisions, stakeholder feedback, and final deliverables. Identify project risks, resolve obstacles proactively, and balance competing priorities across multiple workstreams. Maintain clear communication among leadership, creative teams, community development stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure projects remain aligned and progress smoothly. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in project management, digital production, communications, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex projects, multiple workstreams, and competing deadlines. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, including leadership, creative professionals, community development stakeholders, and external agency partners. Experience managing digital production projects, website development, content workflows, or similar communications initiatives. Familiarity with content management systems; experience using Wagtail CMS is relevant to the role. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consolidate feedback, clarify requirements, and coordinate revisions across diverse stakeholders. Experience managing external agency or vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment. Strong project oversight skills, including timeline management, quality assurance, issue tracking, and coordination of deliverables from initial planning through launch. Adaptability, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize effectively while maintaining high standards of accuracy and execution. Comfort working in a remote-first environment and coordinating with stakeholders across teams and functions. Benefits Hourly compensation: $75–$85 per hour, depending on experience. Contract duration: Immediate start through the end of the year. Remote work: Remote-first working environment. Flexible scheduling: Flexible work hours. Paid vacation: Minimum of 20 days of paid vacation annually, as described in the source posting. Retirement and financial wellness: 401(k) plan and financial wellness support. Healthcare and well-being: Medical, dental, life, pet, and mental health benefits. Home office support: Home office allowance. Wellness credits: Biannual wellness credits. Technology support: Monthly technology credit to help offset internet and phone expenses. Family support: Comprehensive parental leave policy. Work-life balance: A culture that respects personal time and discourages after-hours communication, with night and weekend work described as rare.
