Strategic Sourcing Lead – Fulfillment

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on sourcing leader to establish and develop a global sourcing hub supporting complex artificial intelligence projects. In this role, you will lead initiatives to identify and engage specialized talent across diverse fields, including translation, localization, legal, medical, scientific, and technical domains. You will shape sourcing strategies that address both hard-to-reach talent profiles and large-scale recruitment needs, working closely with Recruitment and Delivery teams to meet project requirements. By leveraging data, AI-powered tools, and automation, you will optimize sourcing workflows, improve conversion rates, and drive operational scalability. Develop and lead the global sourcing hub: Establish the operating model, processes, and strategic direction of a new global sourcing function dedicated to fulfilling complex AI project requirements. Design sourcing strategies: Create and execute innovative approaches to identify, engage, and attract specialized, hard-to-reach, and high-volume talent across multiple professional domains and geographic markets. Collaborate with Recruitment and Delivery: Partner with recruitment specialists and delivery stakeholders to understand project requirements, assess sourcing feasibility, define talent acquisition strategies, and align sourcing activities with operational objectives. Build and develop the sourcing team: Lead, mentor, and support sourcing professionals, establishing clear priorities, encouraging knowledge sharing, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Manage stakeholder relationships: Build strong partnerships with production stakeholders and communicate sourcing progress, resource availability, potential risks, delivery timelines, and expectations effectively. Drive data-informed sourcing decisions: Analyze sourcing metrics, conversion rates, and recruitment funnel performance to identify bottlenecks, evaluate sourcing effectiveness, and implement improvements. Integrate AI and automation: Incorporate AI-powered tools and automated workflows into talent research, candidate outreach, market analysis, and sourcing operations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Optimize sourcing performance: Test new sourcing methods, evaluate results, and refine strategies to meet evolving project demands while maintaining quality and delivery standards. Support global talent acquisition: Develop approaches for sourcing contributors across different markets, time zones, and specialized disciplines to support international AI training and data initiatives. Promote operational excellence: Establish scalable practices and workflows that enable the sourcing hub to respond effectively to changing business priorities and complex project requirements. Requirements: Relevant professional experience: At least five years of experience in sourcing, recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field. Leadership experience: Proven experience leading, mentoring, or developing sourcing teams in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to establish priorities and drive results. Strategic sourcing expertise: Demonstrated ability to design and execute sourcing strategies for specialized, difficult-to-find, or high-volume talent requirements. Stakeholder management: Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and align stakeholders around shared objectives. Analytical capabilities: Strong data analysis skills and the ability to use sourcing metrics, conversion rates, and performance indicators to guide decisions and improve recruitment outcomes. Process optimization: Experience identifying operational inefficiencies, testing new approaches, and improving sourcing workflows to increase productivity and scalability. Technology and AI adaptability: Interest in leveraging AI-powered tools and automation to enhance talent research, outreach, analysis, and sourcing performance. Educational background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. AI and data sourcing experience: Previous experience sourcing contributors for AI, data, crowdsourcing, or related projects is an advantage. Language talent acquisition: Experience identifying and recruiting linguists, translators, localization specialists, or other language professionals across different markets is desirable. International collaboration: Experience working with global or geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones is a plus. Schedule flexibility: Willingness to work regular US business hours or maintain sufficient overlap with US-based teams when operating from another time zone.
