Goethe-Institut Ukraine is accepting 2026 applications for Studienbrücke, an online study-preparation pathway for strong Ukrainian school students aiming to apply to participating universities in Germany.
Complete training program details
The 2026/27 cycle accepts applications from 1–30 September 2026. The programme runs from November 2026 through April 2027, followed by applications to partner universities in May–June 2027. The participation fee is UAH 21,000; TestDaF and TestAS examination costs, visa costs, university enrolment costs and study costs in Germany are not included.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants normally must have completed grade 10 and be in grade 11 at the programme start, have at least B2 German documented by Goethe-Zertifikat B2, show strong motivation to study in Germany, strong academic performance especially in STEM subjects, relevant olympiad/project participation or similar achievement, social competence, parental or guardian consent if under 18, and participate in an interview. For 2026, graduates of Ukrainian schools from the 2025/26 school year are also eligible because of the war situation. Applicants in temporarily occupied territories may receive an individual language assessment instead of the standard B2 examination requirement.
