Our partner is looking for a Supplier Management Senior Consultant II based in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional to strengthen supplier relationships and optimize business performance within a leading insurance environment. In this role, you will collaborate with supplier partners, insurance product teams, and procurement stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation. You will transform complex supplier data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and improve business outcomes. By developing interactive dashboards and performance reports, you will enhance data transparency and help teams make smarter, faster decisions. You will also contribute to supplier product testing, contract optimization, and process improvements across the organization. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with supplier partners, serving as a trusted advisor to internal business teams and helping align supplier solutions with business objectives. Business Consulting and Strategy: Evaluate supplier offerings and recommend cost-effective strategies that support insurance product goals, profitable growth, and increased market share. Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Analyze supplier data, market trends, and product performance to identify opportunities, assess risks, monitor results, and recommend improvements. Reporting and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, or similar tools to improve visibility into supplier performance and business metrics. Supplier Testing and Evaluation: Partner with business teams to develop, execute, and evaluate supplier product testing initiatives, translating findings into practical recommendations. Procurement and Contract Optimization: Collaborate with Sourcing and Procurement teams to maximize the value, utilization, and effectiveness of supplier contracts, data, and services. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and problem-solving between supplier partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring information is shared effectively and business challenges are addressed promptly. Process Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve supplier management processes, enhance analytics capabilities, and encourage the adoption of new technologies and innovative solutions. Strategic Communication: Present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, providing business leaders with actionable insights to guide decisions and improve operational outcomes. Requirements Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in supplier management, business consulting, analytics, procurement, insurance, or a related field. Data Visualization and Reporting: Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, or comparable platforms. Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify meaningful trends, and translate findings into business recommendations. Supplier and Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to develop productive supplier relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across business functions. Business Acumen: Understanding of supplier performance, procurement processes, product development, and commercial strategies, with the ability to connect analytical insights to business objectives. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data-driven recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Process Improvement: Ability to identify operational inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and support the implementation of new processes and technologies. Adaptability and Initiative: A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively, and drive initiatives forward. Remote Work Readiness: Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with a dedicated, private workspace and reliable internet connectivity of at least 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Additional Employment Requirements: Candidates selected for the position must complete a background investigation. Employment-based visa sponsorship is generally not available for this role. Benefits Competitive compensation: Annual salary range of $68,500–$115,600 , depending on experience and qualifications.
