Full job description
Provide perioperative assessment, surgery and postoperative care; lead the operating-theatre team; support emergency coverage; coordinate referrals; maintain infection-prevention and clinical-equipment standards; and contribute to clinical audits, safety reviews and operational reporting.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires an MD, specialist qualification in Surgery, valid permanent registration with the national medical council, emergency-care credentials such as BLS/ATLS/ACLS/PALS, and 5–10 years of experience in general medicine and surgery. Experience in remote healthcare and industrial or mining settings is preferred.
