The Mali country schedule lists Research Fellowship and PhD routes. Both provide CHF 2,450 per month. Qualifying non-EU/EFTA recipients also receive compulsory health-insurance premium coverage and a return-flight allowance; award holders receive a CHF 600 rental-deposit grant and a Half-Fare Travelcard. Tuition and semester fees are generally not covered.
Eligibility requirements
Research Fellowship applicants must be early-career researchers pursuing a PhD in their home country; PhD scholarship applicants must have completed a master's degree or equivalent by the programme deadline for degree completion. Applicants must meet the current age/residence rules, submit a detailed research plan, and secure an eligible academic supervisor in Switzerland who provides a letter of support.
