The current 2027–2028 programme offers Paraguay applicants the Research Fellowship and PhD Scholarship routes. Current SERI terms state CHF 2,450 per month, eligible compulsory Swiss health-insurance premiums for non-EU/EFTA scholarship holders, a one-time CHF 600 rental-deposit grant, a Half-Fare Travelcard and an eligible return-flight allowance for non-EU/EFTA scholars. Tuition and semester fees are not covered by the Federal Commission for Scholarships, so this record does not describe the award as universally fully funded.
Eligibility requirements
For the Research Fellowship, applicants must meet the current degree, age, research-plan and Swiss academic-supervisor requirements. For the PhD route, applicants must meet the current master’s-degree, age, research-plan and Swiss-supervisor requirements.
