The official country schedule lists Research Fellowship, PhD and Arts awards for Romanian applicants. Current research/PhD/art support is CHF 2,450 per month plus a one-time CHF 600 housing-deposit contribution and a Swiss Half-Fare Travelcard. Romania is an EU country, so award holders cover their own health insurance and travel. Tuition and semester fees are not covered.
Eligibility requirements
Eligibility depends on scholarship type. Research and PhD applicants need the required master’s-level qualification by the current 2027 cut-off, a research project and a supporting academic supervisor in Switzerland. Arts applicants must meet the current first-master and admission requirements. Applicants must satisfy the current age, residence and country-specific conditions.
