System Engineer

About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong System Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with the VP on a daily basis, taking ownership of complex technical assignments, driving cross-functional engineering activities, and supporting key technical decisions and execution. You will leverage your deep system-level understanding to investigate complex technical challenges, identify the right stakeholders, challenge technical assumptions, and drive engineering teams toward effective solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong system-level thinking with technical leadership, excellent analytical skills, independent execution capabilities, and the ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple engineering teams without direct authority.

What Will Your Job Look Like?

• Work closely with the VP on a daily basis, taking ownership of technical assignments, driving engineering execution, and supporting system-level analysis, planning, and key technical decisions.

• Independently lead complex technical assignments from problem definition through investigation, solution alignment, execution, and closure.

• Develop a deep end-to-end understanding of complex multidisciplinary systems, their architecture, interfaces, dependencies, and operational behavior.

• Lead cross-functional technical investigations, engaging the relevant engineering experts, challenging technical assumptions, and ensuring effective root cause analysis and resolution.

• Perform system-level analysis, evaluate technical alternatives, and identify dependencies and design trade-offs.

• Work closely with Software, Hardware, Algorithms, and Product teams to drive technical alignment, resolve blockers, and ensure effective execution across engineering groups.

• Investigate complex technical challenges, identify gaps, and drive the definition and implementation of practical engineering solutions.

• Identify execution gaps, technical risks, and cross-team dependencies, proactively driving their resolution.

• Translate complex technical findings into clear conclusions, actionable recommendations, and decision points for senior leadership.

• Support technical decision-making throughout the system development lifecycle, ensuring alignment between technical decisions and execution priorities.

All You Need Is:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.

• More than 6 years of experience in System Engineering or System Design within complex technological systems, with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical activities.

• Proven ability to independently drive complex technical assignments and deliver results through multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of system architecture, design principles, and multidisciplinary systems, with the ability to understand and challenge technical solutions across different engineering domains.

• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, ask the right technical questions, challenge assumptions, and drive effective problem resolution.

• Experience working closely with multidisciplinary R&D teams, including leading technical discussions and driving alignment without direct managerial authority.

• Strong execution mindset, high level of ownership, and ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical topics, risks, and recommendations to senior management.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Have:

• Experience in ADAS, Autonomous Driving, or automotive systems.

• Experience working on large-scale, software-intensive, multidisciplinary systems.

• Experience driving technical investigations, system-level problem resolution, and cross-functional engineering execution.
