Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.   Description Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities and be able to travel 3x/year for 7-10 days at a time.   Requirements Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) year of systems engineering experience. A High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area) may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline  from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of systems engineering experience. A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field  or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for three (3) years of systems engineering experience. Required Skills: Experience with coding Python and Visual Basic for applications Strong experience in applying RF theoretical and academic knowledge in EMI testing unintended emissions within HF, VHF, and UHF spectrum Familiar with RF tools (network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes) and components (amplifiers, filters, isolators, attenuators, terminators, etc.) Formulating and documenting test plans Draft and issue technical recommendations through formal test reports Specify and/or review system and component technical performance requirements to ensure optimal functionality while meeting E3 noise electric field limit. Collaborate internal and external agency stakeholders to ensure technical support enables the E3 Program and customer mission requirements Desired Skills: Preferred but not required to have experience in electromagnetic compatibility testing, electromagnetic interference mitigation, and /or antenna calibration.   This position is open for direct hires only. We will not consider candidates from third party staffing/recruiting firms. Benefits Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience) Up to 20% 401k contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day 1) Above Market Hourly Rates $3,600 HSA Contribution 6 Weeks Paid Time Off Company Paid Employee Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance/Life Insurance/Short-Term & Long-Term Disability/AD&D
