The scholarship is intended to support approximately 350 outstanding undergraduate students over six years. Benefits include financial support throughout the four-year undergraduate programme plus resources for entrepreneurship and technology innovation and opportunities to represent the UAE at youth-focused events. MBZUAI separately states that undergraduate scholarships may cover up to 100% of tuition and cost of attendance; no undergraduate stipend is provided, though some packages may include living support.
Eligibility requirements
Open to prospective undergraduate students from the UAE and around the world. Candidates become eligible after meeting MBZUAI admission requirements and receiving full acceptance for full-time undergraduate enrolment. Selection considers mathematics proficiency, leadership/entrepreneurship and distinguished achievements across areas such as STEM competitions, entrepreneurship, community impact, arts or sport.

MBZUAI Fall 2027 undergraduate applications open 1 Sep 2026; the regular-decision admission deadline is 1 Feb 2027 at 5 p.m. GST. Deadline is therefore left null rather than treating the admission date as a separate scholarship cutoff.
