ABOUT AIUC

Full job description

ABOUT AIUC AIUC builds standards and insurance for frontier AI. Our mission is to Underwrite superintelligence https://underwriting-superintelligence.com/. We exist because risk, not capability, is becoming the binding constraint on AI being useful. History offers lessons for how to build confidence in new technology; electricity burned down houses until insurers funded Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to certify products against their standards. Today, the UL mark is a trustmark on every light bulb in America. We’re building that for AI. AIUC-1, our standard for agent security, serves frontier builders like Cursor, Lovable, ElevenLabs, and Harvey. We've raised $55m from Ribbit, First Harmonic and Nat Friedman to audit frontier AI. Our team comes from METR, Anthropic, McKinsey, and OpenAI. Come join us. THE ROLE We're hiring across GTM, operations, product, and engineering at the same time, and every one of those searches runs through a small talent team. We're looking for our first Talent Coordinator to own the logistics behind a hiring process that feels fast and well run. You'll keep candidates moving and hiring managers on schedule, and you'll make sure every onsite goes right, from getting in the building to the follow-up email. You'll work directly with our Talent Partners, hiring managers, and founders, and you'll have a real hand in building how AIUC hires. Every candidate you schedule, greet, or email is a brand interaction. In your first 30 days you'll take over all interview scheduling and own the candidate experience for every onsite. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Own interview scheduling for every open role, from first screen to onsite, across founder and hiring manager calendars
  • Run onsite logistics: building access, agendas, lunches, travel and hotels for out-of-town candidates
  • Keep Ashby the single source of truth for stages, feedback, and offer details
  • Chase interview feedback so hiring teams can debrief and decide quickly
  • Get candidates the right materials early enough to matter
  • Support offers and pre-start logistics with the Talent Partners and Operations
  • Help run recruiting events, like our paper club and hiring dinners
  • Help build our interviewer shadow program
  • Spot what's breaking in the process and fix it WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 1 to 3 years in recruiting coordination, executive support, events, or similar work at a fast-moving company. (Impact matters more than years.)
  • You can track a dozen moving pieces across a dozen calendars, and nothing falls through
  • Clear, warm writing. Candidates feel looked after from the first email to the final answer, whatever the outcome
  • Good judgment about what's urgent, what's confidential, and when to flag something
  • Evidence that you've fixed a broken process before, and can tell us how NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience with Ashby or another modern ATS
  • You've used AI or automation tools to make scheduling and coordination faster OUR VALUES We are in the business of building trust. We take our values seriously and treat them as commitments to each other, held to the same bar as the ones we make to customers.
  • Strong back: high standards, keep our promises, work hard.
  • Fast feet: experiment, cut scope, take delight in pace.
  • Eyes up: wrestle with the mission, and let where AI is heading shape our strategy, our teams and our day-to-day work.
  • Open heart: say the scary thing, create connection, make room for emotions. Underwriting superintelligence is our life's work. If you want it to be yours, apply now. COMPENSATION & PERKS
  • Competitive annual salary
  • Equity (significant part of total compensation)
  • Health, dental and vision insurance for you and your dependents
  • Visa sponsorship and relocation stipend to bring you to SF, if needed
  • Daily lunch, dinner & snacks
