Full job description

The initial fixed-term appointment is two years and renewable subject to performance. The official notice lists a net annual base salary of USD 77,326 plus a USD 65,186 post adjustment based on the August 2026 rate, paid in Swiss francs with the adjustment variable. The role manages team workloads, complex PCT cases, client advisory services, training and performance reporting.

Requirements & qualifications

Advanced university degree, with an accepted first-level degree plus two additional years of relevant experience as an alternative, and at least seven years of relevant experience including three years in an IP office or comparable environment. Experience supervising a large team, formalities examination of patent applications, customer service and training is required. Excellent English plus at least one PCT publication language is required.
