Tetra Tech is recruiting a part-time Technical Assistance Lead for its Kiribati Cross-Cutting Program Support Project to coordinate capacity-development activities with MEHR, MCC and MSI.
Full job description
The Lead serves as the primary liaison for technical-assistance planning and delivery, develops concept notes and workplans, facilitates workshops, tracks implementation, prepares terms of reference and funding requests, supports meetings and procurement of activity resources, conducts research and stakeholder consultations, and brings local and labour-mobility knowledge to the work. The position is approximately 50% level of effort. The successful candidate will be based in Kiribati or willing to travel to Kiribati at least four times per year for at least two weeks per visit.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of work experience, prior experience working with Kiribati’s Ministry of Employment and Human Resources (MEHR), strong local knowledge, strong written and spoken English, organisational and relationship-building skills, and competence with email, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Understanding of employment and labour mobility in Kiribati is preferred.
