Full job description

ABOUT FACTORY Our mission is to create a world where software builds and improves itself. We build the platform for self-improving software development, helping the world's largest enterprise engineering teams turn their organizations into autonomous software factories. Customers including Nvidia, Blackstone, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Palo Alto Networks, Adobe, and T-Mobile run Factory to ship code, review PRs, run tests, and deploy continuously - getting smarter with every cycle. In 2026, we raised $200M at a $5B valuation, bringing our total funding to over $400M. We are backed by world-class investors and operators including Khosla Ventures, Sequoia, Blackstone, Ali Ghodsi (CEO of Databricks), and Frank Slootman (Former CEO of Snowflake). ABOUT THE ROLE As our Technical Enablement Manager, you will build technical enablement at Factory from the ground up as one of the first hires on the GTM Enablement team. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Deployment, and Sales leadership to drive technical excellence across the entire customer lifecycle. You will embed yourself within Engineering, Product, and Marketing to translate technical direction and product positioning into actionable GTM guidance. By setting a high technical bar for customer-facing teams, you will empower sellers to engage confidently with engineering leaders and equip Solutions Engineers and Deployment teams with program playbooks, enablement assets, effective demos, and rollout strategies. WHAT YOU WILL DO AND ACHIEVE

  • Embed Upstream & Downstream: Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Marketing as a peer to translate technical direction into actionable guidance for our Sales, Solutions Engineering and Deployment teams.
  • Align Product Rollouts & Marketing with GTM: Design efficient enablement motions and partner with Marketing to produce enablement assets and keep sales and post-sale teams aligned on positioning, messaging, and target personas.
  • Set Technical Bar & Voice: Establish high technical standards for customer-facing teams and act as the technical voice of GTM back to Product and Engineering.
  • Drive Solutions Engineering Enablement: Own onboarding and ongoing enablement for SEs, covering effective demos, value-driven scoping, POVs, and post-sale technical success.
  • Streamline Customer Deployments: Equip deployment teams with the playbooks and technical strategies needed to accelerate enterprise rollouts and time-to-value.
  • Scale Post-Sale Adoption Playbooks: Build hackathon and onboarding frameworks that ensure deep, sticky usage of Droids across customer engineering organizations.
  • Serve as a Trusted Developer Advocate: Build with Droids daily to credibly demonstrate capabilities and earn the trust of enterprise engineering leaders and developers. QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of technical experience, spanning software engineering and roles such as Solutions Engineer, Developer Advocate, or Technical Trainer.
  • Hands-on technical depth: active coder fluent in terminal environments, Git, CI/CD, and agent architectures/model tradeoffs.
  • Daily practitioner with AI coding agents, possessing deep insight into their capabilities and failure modes.
  • Proven authority in guiding senior engineers and SEs through complex technical challenges, evaluations, and enterprise rollouts.
  • Exceptional communication skills: adept at translating complex topics for audiences ranging from SDRs to principal engineers.
  • Track record of designing impactful technical training, demo programs, hands-on certifications, or adoption frameworks.
  • Familiarity with sales and coaching methodologies such as Command of the Message or MEDDPICC preferred. This is an in-office position (5 days/week) in San Francisco (walking distance to Caltrain)
