This is a full-time, onsite role based at our headquarters in Denver, CO.
As the Technical Lead Manager for Power Electronics & EMI/EMC, you will apply your skills to technical and functional leadership of a team of individuals working to develop and mature the state of power electronics at Xcimer. We are looking for our Technical Lead Manager for Power Electronics & EMI/EMC to apply their technical expertise, problem solving skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact the future of energy!
Technical leadership over the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering
Functional management over individuals within the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering
Development of a technology roadmap for power electronics at Xcimer. Including high-voltage power supplies, DC-DC converters, and EMI/EMC compliant PCB design.
Development of standards, specifications, requirements and best-practices for power electronics and EMI/EMC for Xcimer.
Education: M.S.E.E. or greater
Experience: >10 years
Project management, functional management, experience with EMI/EMC specifications/standards/design, expert knowledge of power supply design, PCB layout and EMI/EMC compliant design.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum
LTSPice or similar circuit modeling software
Experience with electromagnetic modelling via Ansys, COMSOL, CST, or equivalent software
Knowledge of electromagnetic fields, as well as their associated interactions and diagnostics
Python or MatLAB programming skills
Experience with project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Projects, etc…
Experience interpreting and implementing EMI/EMC commercial or military standards (e.g. IEC 61000-4, MIL-STD-461 etc…)
