Participants gain practical experience in analyses, testing and characterization of materials and coatings. CERN states a 40-hour week, an ideal April 1, 2027 start and a CHF 3,486 monthly tax-free allowance, plus programme benefits including paid leave, health-insurance coverage and conditional travel/family support.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants should be studying Applied Physics, Engineering Physics or a related field, have completed at least 18 months of studies by selection, remain enrolled full-time and know English or French. They must meet CERN Member/Associate Member nationality rules; PhD students and holders are not eligible.
