APT / Mortuary Technician Locum Pulse is currently recruiting for an experienced APT (Anatomical Pathology Technician) / Mortuary Technician to join a well-established pathology service in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mortuary professional seeking a flexible locum assignment with the potential to develop into a long-term placement. The Role The successful candidate will support the mortuary and post-mortem service, working alongside a dedicated pathology team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day mortuary operations. Key Details Target start date: Mid-November Initial requirement: Approximately 2 months Strong likelihood of extension into a long-term position following a planned retirement 20-30 hours per week Primarily Monday to Friday, although Monday to Thursday may be considered 8:00am start time acceptable Band 5-6 rates available Flexible part-time working pattern Essential Requirements Previous experience working as an APT, Mortuary Technician or within a post-mortem service Practical experience supporting autopsies and mortuary procedures Understanding of mortuary health and safety procedures Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organisational skills Right to work in the UK Why Work with Pulse?
