This customer-facing role is responsible for driving adoption and growth of innovative cardiovascular diagnostic technology across a defined geographic territory. You will build trusted relationships with cardiologists, primary care physicians, clinical stakeholders, and healthcare organizations. The role combines account development, consultative sales, clinical education, and cross-functional program execution. You will develop strategic plans for key accounts and work closely with internal sales, marketing, clinical, product, and market access teams. Success will be measured through account growth, increased utilization, physician engagement, and achievement of commercial targets. This is a home-office-based position with approximately 20–25% travel and significant time spent working directly with customers.
Develop and execute business development plans for strategic accounts to drive adoption of cardiovascular CT and FFRct clinical pathways. Build and maintain strong relationships with cardiologists, referring physicians, nurse practitioners, administrators, and other key clinical and organizational stakeholders. Educate healthcare professionals on the value and clinical applications of advanced cardiovascular diagnostic technology through presentations, discussions, meetings, and educational programs. Increase utilization and adoption within assigned accounts by strengthening physician engagement, expanding referral networks, and developing customer advocacy. Coordinate cross-functional resources across sales, marketing, clinical, product development, market access, and CT applications teams to support strategic accounts. Organize and support customer engagement initiatives such as physician office meetings, educational dinners, VIP visits, and clinical pathway events. Monitor account performance against commercial objectives, including quota attainment, growth in non-invasive cardiovascular testing, and FFRct case penetration. Identify opportunities to expand programs and improve customer satisfaction through proactive account management and solution development. Communicate customer needs, market feedback, and account opportunities to internal stakeholders. Manage projects independently, respond effectively to challenges, and maintain strong execution across multiple priorities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, or an associate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience. Degree in science, medicine, business, marketing, technology, or a related field is preferred. Proven sales skills with a demonstrated track record of achieving commercial objectives. Experience developing accounts and supporting strong clinical programs, ideally within healthcare or medical technology environments. Prior experience in medical devices, cardiology pharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals, hospitals, or medical software is highly preferred. Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies or clinical solutions into hospital environments is highly desirable. Strong ability to quickly learn complex clinical and technical concepts and communicate them effectively to healthcare professionals. Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and cardiovascular diagnostic technologies is preferred. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with physicians, hospital administrators, referring practices, and other strategic stakeholders. Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, clinical, product, and other cross-functional teams. Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of independently initiating and completing projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain effective under pressure. Strong work ethic, professional judgment, and customer-facing etiquette. Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform. Ability to travel approximately 20–25% from a home office. Benefits: Base compensation of $125,000 annually. Variable compensation/commission opportunity with total target compensation of $200,000. Home-office-based work environment. Approximately 20–25% travel within the assigned territory. Opportunity to work with innovative cardiovascular diagnostic technology. Customer-facing role with significant interaction with healthcare professionals and clinical leaders. Collaborative environment spanning sales, marketing, clinical, product development, and market access teams. Opportunity to contribute to the adoption of technologies designed to support more informed cardiovascular care.
